Student Group Open Group Enterprise Group - The Best Toy Awards

Introduction
The Hong Kong Toy Design Competition 2001, co-organised by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Toys Manufacturer's Association of Hong Kong, aimed to lift up further the industry's position in the international market through the encouragement and development of more creative and innovative designs.

The Competition was divided into three groups, namely Student, Open and Enterprise. It drew more than 200 entries from students and individuals in the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Short-listed entries were carefully examined by the Panel of Judges, which comprised 11 professionals from industry and academia. There are all together 8 entries being selecting for Gold, Silver and Merit Awards from the Student and Open Groups. Among them, the Gold Awardee of the Open Group has also won the Diamond Award. As for the Enterprise Group, 8 entries were selected by judges as the Best Toys.
